Bank sand

Bank sand, also known as fill sand, is a naturally occurring, coarse sand commonly used in construction and landscaping for filling and leveling purposes. With its slightly gritty texture and excellent compaction qualities, bank sand is ideal for creating a stable foundation for various projects, including road bases, building pads, and grading around foundations. Its ability to compact well helps prevent shifting or settling over time, making it suitable for large-scale projects as well as smaller landscaping applications.

Additionally, bank sand promotes good drainage, which can be beneficial in areas prone to standing water, adding functional support to many outdoor and construction environments.
